Still no match report

This will tell you (AND ME) a little bit about the League Cup for Women ...

This tie is the Determining Round of the competition before splitting into two competitions. A win on Sunday and the victors progress into the Cup pathway with the defeated side entering the Plate competition.

Bridgwater United v Maidenhead United
Sunday 12th September, 2pm
National League Cup, Determining Round
Fairfax Park

Maidenhead United, play in FAWNL South West Division 1 which is one tier below Bridgwater in the Women’s Football Pyramid.

United got off to a great start under new management last weekend with a resounding win against Poole Town. Ryan Taylor is now in the hot seat following the departure of Nevin Saroya to the PFA.

The visiting United will be another challenge for Bridgy with the strong organised side’s position in the table not truly reflecting their ability or ambition so far this season.

Jamie Sherwood’s squad continued their unbeaten start to the league campaign with victory at Cardiff City on Thursday evening, thanks to Ellie Strippel’s second half strike.
