Less than a minute into the second half and it's 2-0! Anthony sends Billing away down the left, his cross is spilled horribly by Collins, allowing Solanke to slam the loose ball home. It did the help of the post, but they all count!

Bit of half-time entertainment for you. Got my cup of tea and a Penguin, complete with joke...

How does a penguin make pancakes?

3:14pm

Cherries 1 Barnsley 0

So close to a second! It's brilliant from Brooks, linking up with Lerma before his shot is blocked.

3:11pm

Cherries 1 Barnsley 0

GOAL!!! Excellent play from Cherries. Starting down the right with Smith and Brooks, the Welshman moves it across to the left where Anthony feeds the marauding Zemura.

The left-back's initial effort is blocked, before he fires home at the second attempt for his first goal for the club. What a moment for the youngster.

Squad certainly looking a lot stronger now than a few weeks ago. Steve Cook, Zeno Ibsen Rossi, Gavin Kilkenny and Leif Davis all missing out on a spot in the matchday squad today.

2:05pm

Team news is in and it is a debut for Gary Cahill.

Ryan Christie and Jamal Lowe could make their first appearances off a strong looking bench.

Cherries: Travers; Smith, Cahill, Kelly, Zemura; Lerma, Pearson, Billing; Brooks, Anthony, Solanke.

Subs: Mepham, Stacey, Marcondes, Christie, Rogers, Lowe, Nyland (g/k).

1:55pm
1:48pm

The transfer window has come and gone and there could be a few new faces on show this afternoon.

Gary Cahill was an unused sub in the draw at Hull, before Ryan Christie and Jamal Lowe signed up on deadline day.

And it sounds like former Chelsea and England man Cahill could feature this afternoon...

We're back!

After the two-week international break, Cherries return to action this afternoon, welcoming Barnsley to Vitality Stadium.

Both sides have undergone quite the change since losing in last season's Championship play-off semi-finals.

Following the departures of Jonathan Woodgate and Valerien Ismael, it's Scott Parker versus Markus Schopp this afternoon.

Kick-off is at 3pm and we'll have all the updates for you right here (not a Cristiano Ronaldo in sight!).
