Dagenham & Redbridge 4 Weymouth 2

Weymouth enjoying the early pressure in this game and are rewarded as a ball comes in towards the back post and Josh Leslie-Smith heads home to give us the lead!

7' GOALLLLLLLL! WE HAVE THE LEAD! (0-1) #UpTheTerras

12' Chance for Dagenham but Walker's shot goes high and wide and out for a goal kick.

16' Free kick for The Terras, Shields delivers but is easily caught by the goalkeeper. Dagenham break on the counter but Harfield blocks well and out of a corner.

18' Back to back corners for Dagenham, Leslie Smith heads away well. Shields looks to break, heads towards the corner looking for a cross but Dagenham defend and ends up going out for a throw to The Daggers.

21' Dagenham equalise.

25' Wright takes a free kick which is cleared by The Terras, Saunders then plays another ball in but it goes out for a goal kick.

26' Robinson with a left footed effort which sails over the crossbar for a Terras goal kick.

33' Cordner tries to play a ball through to Ash but Dagenham defend well. The Daggers break and Leslie-Smith blocks and it goes out for a Dagenham corner.

39' Penalty for The Terras!
40' BRAD ASH SCORES THE PENALTY! Keeper goes the right way but it's tucked into the corner excellently! (1-2) #UpTheTerras

HT: Dagenham and Redbridge 1-2 Weymouth Leslie-Smith with the opener with a header before Vilhete equalised for Dagenham. Dagenham then concede a penalty following a handball which Ash slotted into the corner to give The Terras the lead at half time!

48' Murray making a run through the middle of the area, Harfield tries to play a ball through but it's too far in front of him and the keeper clears. Terras then attack again down the right but the ball is cleared away from danger.

57' Strike from distance from Dagenham but it doesn't threaten the goal.

59' SUBSTITUTION Robinson replaces Morgan (2-2) #UpTheTerras

62' Close for The Terras as Shields plays a ball in and Brad Ash slides in towards the goal but can't make contact towards goal.

64' DOUBLE SUBSTITUTION Goodship and McQuoid replace Murray and Mussa

66' Shields picks up a loose ball and shoots towards the near post and the keeper makes a good save to concede a corner.

67' Chance for Dagenham but they strike towards the near post and out for a goal kick following good defensive play by The Terras to close the angle.




72' Goodship on the break. He had options left and right but he went for the shot which was blocked and cleared by Dagenham.

77' Dangerous free kick for Dagenham doesn't trouble Fitzsimons and sails out for a goal kick. Dagenham then attack down the wing as Weston then fizzes a ball into the middle and Fitzsimons claws it away for a corner.

78' Goal for Dagenham Wright gives Dagenham the lead from a corner.

88' Goodship attempting to get onto a ball into the box but is cleared away well by The Daggers.

90' Another chance for The Daggers but Cordner gets back well to clear. The resulting corner goes short and Dagenham are happy to keep it in the corner but Terras manage to get a foot in and clear.

Despite defeat, Weymouth have hardly disgraced themselves with some good football being played this evening against tough opposition. Once again a big thanks to the 50 away fans that have travelled and have made great noise this evening. #UpTheTerras
