 From the Non League Paper

NEAL LEADS THE WAY AS TIGERS TAME DEVONIANS

TRURO CITY progressed to the next round after a comfortable win over Exmouth Town at Bolitho Park.

First half goals from Rocky Neal, Ryan Brett and Tyler Harvey gave City a comfortable lead before Jordan Harris pulled one back for the visitors in the second half.

The White Tigers started strongly and found the breakthrough after 16 minutes.

Connor Riley-Lowe picked out Neal who headed the ball into the corner to open the scoring.

Brett tulhen doubled the score. Garside, Hartley and Harvey all combined before the full back picked out the onrushing Brett who fired into the roof of the net.

Tyler Harvey made it 3-0 on the brink of half time as he superbly volleyed the ball into the top corner past a helpless Exmouth goalkeeper.

Truro had more chances in the second half.

Harvey saw the ball clip the edge of the post before Neal fired the ball into the back of the net after being played through by Dan Rooney, but the offside flag went up.

Exmouth did pull one back midway through the second half. Jordan Harris tried his luck from distance and saw his effort fly past James Hamon into the top corner but it proved to be only a consolation as Truro progressed.
