Moors turned the game on its head at the SportNation.bet Stadium to come from behind to beat Weymouth FC and ensure that Mark Yates’ unbeaten start at home continues.
Kyle Hudlin’s equaliser and a header from substitute Adam Rooney was enough for Moors to make it back-to-back wins in the National League.

In a frantic opening first 10 minutes, it was the visitors who stole in and scored the opening goal of the encounter. Sean Shields, a man in form, was the player who snuck in behind the resolute defence before flashing an effort at goal that evaded the hands of Ryan Boot in between the Moors sticks, Josh McQuoid was there to tap home one of the easiest he will score all season.
It took the hosts a while to get going before popping up with the equaliser, that came just after the half hour mark.
It was that man again, Kyle Hudlin, who made it into double figures for the season. Kyle Storer's and Hudlin's closing down of Ethan Ross in the Weymouth goal paid off as Ross’ clearance deflected off the back of Hudlin and he was instinctive. He was bundled over by Ross before jumping back to his feet quickly and slotting home into an empty net for Solihull to draw level.
There was a huge opportunity for the Moors to take the lead just before the interval, but it was squandered by Alex Addai. Callum Maycock delivered an exquisite ball through the centre of the visitiors’ defence before seeing Addai flash his effort over the top of Ross’ crossbar as the score remained level in the contest.

It was more of the same for the Moors starting the second half the way they finished the first period, making more opportunities and giving that back line of the visitors more to think about.
Captain Storer penetrated the Weymouth defence with one pass that saw Hudlin clean through, but saw his effort blocked by the out-stretched legs of Ross to keep the score-line in tact.
Just five minutes later, Moors thought they had a penalty, there were huge shouts for one! James Ball went to unleash a rocket before being bundled under the challenge, but the referee waved away the appeals as Moors continued to be frustrated.
Moors did finally get their reward though in the 63rd minute as continued patience led to the third goal of the encounter. Jordan Cranston’s delivery was on the money as substitute Rooney rose highest to meet it and guide it past Ross to turn the contest on its head and give Solihull a deserved lead.
The Irishman's header turned out to be the winner that ensured Moors extended their unbeaten run at home to seven games.
