Bovey Tracey continue to lose despite that league record 18-1 win.
I have some more information on that result and it seems that Stoke Gabriel are the common factor. The Stoke Gabriel team are bottom of the table having played 11 and lost 11. Their goal difference is unlikely to recover as they have scored 2 goals, one of them was against Bovey Tracey and conceded 137. This early in the season a goal difference of -135 is (I am afraid) unrecoverable.
I also check their other results. They lost 15-0 on Wednesday night. They lost 14-0 last Saturday. Their other goal was scored against Elburton Villa who only managed to win 9-1.
So Bovey Tracey were at home to Elbuton Villa with scores against Stoke Gabriel of 9-1 and 18-1.
Bovey contrived to lose their home game 4-3 to Elburton Villa.
I do want to go and watch as it is a lovely little ground with a friendly bar but maybe I will wait until the team get some footballers in.
