Rovers take a valuable three points after 1-0 victory over visiting Evesham Utd on Saturday afternoon.
Willand consolidated their mid-table position with a hard fought victory over Evesham Utd with a goal from Ben Griffith on 13 minutes. After a period of Rovers pressure the resulting corner by Jack Rice was not cleared by the visitors and Griffith pounced on the loose ball in the box to drive home.
In a scrappy but entertaining match both teams looked dangerous when attacking but were guilty of being wasteful in front of goal.
In the second half Willand seemed to have the game under control but needed a number of fine saves from George Burton and some stout defending by the solid back four to keep the visitors at bay.
