Debutant Ali Boyer made an unbelievable impact for Cadbury Heath, scoring a hat-trick in their 3-2 Western Premier win over second placed Exmouth.
The visitors were unbeaten in eight matches heading into Saturday’s game, and after taking the lead inside the opening minute through Aaron Denny, few would have predicted what was to unfold.
New signing Boyer’s first goal came soon after Denny’s opener, but the Heath weren’t level for all that long, with Nathan Cooper striking midway through the first half to put the Seasiders back in front.
A second goal from Boyer soon after the interval set up an exciting second half, and it was the man on debut who struck again on the hour mark to cap a perfect home start.
