Kevin Hill's Exmouth Town became the second side this season to reach the 50-point mark, edging to a 1-0 victory at home to in-form Shepton Mallet.
The only goal of the game came inside the opening 60 seconds, with new signing Levi Landricombe finding the back of the net on his league debut for the hosts.
Top spot still belongs to Tavistock after they defeated Brislington 3-0 at Langsford Park to stay 10 points clear at the summit.
