I have just spreadsheeted the F.A.Youth Cup First Round draw and these are some of the ties:
So far this last tie with seven steps between the two senior teams is the biggest difference but remember that these are the youth teams and a strong club could have a weak youth team while a weak club could have a strong youth team. I await the results with fascination.

But I like to watch the uneven contests which can result in a glut of goals or, better than that, a shock. Shocks are good for football.
Most of these ties will take place on Saturday November 6th, but Youth Matches are often switched to midweek to make things easier for clubs to focus on the right team at the right time.
