My original reason for picking Brentford was the Woijciech Czszesny connection but I have loved following the form of Alan Judge and Neal Maupay as the team have battled and remained firmly in the Football League Championship.
This season the friendlies started with a 3-0 win over AFC Wimbledon. Two draws followed, one at home to Dynamo Kiev and one away at Wycombe Wanderers which saw two goal scored by both teams. The best result was undoubtedly a 3-1 win away at Norwich City and the friendlies ended with a 3-1 home defeat to AFC Bournemouth.
The season has started with a 1-0 home defeat to Birmingham followed by a 1-0 win away at Middlesbrough. The Carabao Cup First Round tie ended 1-1 but unfortunately Cambridge United won the match 5-4 on penalties.
This coming weekend sees a home match against Hull City. Home form needs to be improved.
