Project Pyramid takes a level of effort. Supporting a single team can be hard enough. I list fixtures in advance to make tracking easier. This week was a footballing week with many matches.
Arsenal had no match which is disappointing for me as I miss out on the chance to watch my heroes qualify for Europe. That "Fourth place trophy" was two extra matches and more money for the club.
Brentford had no match either, but my other pyramid teams saw action.
Southend United drew 0-0 away at Doncaster.
Exeter City went away and beat Dagenham & Redbridge 2-1.
Torquay United lost 1-0 at home to Woking.
Weston-super-Mare were due to play but no result appeared on any sport website. A Mystery.
Bideford entertained Weymouth at home and lost 1-0.
Tiverton Town travelled to Shortwood United and beat them 1-0.
Barnstaple travelled to Buckland Athletic and lost 1-0.
Exmouth Town at the bottom of my pyramid had no match like the top two teams.
Now for that mystery. Sure enough the Weston website had the information. They were 2-0 down away at Ebbsfleet when the floodlights failed at half time. They now have to travel the width of the country again in order to complete the fixture.
