When Brentford came up and Yeovil went down I switched the divisions but kept the teams. Having noted that Yeovil seem to be on a big downward spiral I have dropped them as a team to follow.
Brentford were selected purely on the basis of the Szczesny connection but I have watched a few TV highlights programs and been impressed by the Bees. So how have the team fared this season?
Three wins in the first three friendlies were followed by two defeats then the real action started.
August 8th: Ipswich Town (H) 2-2 DRAW
August 11th: Oxford United (H) Capital One Cup 0-4 DEFEAT
I hope this one was an aberation as it does not look good on paper.
August 15th: Bristol City (A) 4-2 WIN
As all good managers will say "We can concentrate on the league now."
