The Womens Pyramid

I need to bring you up to date with what has been happening in the Women's Pyramid but there is not a lot to tell.

Exeter Reserves have not played a match since 18th October when they beat Bradninch 17-0. I hope they are still training hard and keep the confidence that a result like that should have given them.

Liverton Ladies have not played since 25th October when they beat Halwill Ladies 6-1. I hope that they too are full of confidence and have been training hard ready to go when the COVID rules allow.

Plymouth Reserves did play on November 1st when they lost 6-2 to St Austell Ladies. Go again girls.

Torquay Women have not played throughout November and they have yet to win a match in the league so there is work to do and hopefully they come back rested when football restarts.

Exeter played on 1st November and beat AEK Boco Ladies 7-0 in the first round of the Women's F.A.Cup. All their matches since then have been postponed due to COVID.

Plymouth lost 8-0 to Watford on 1st November and have seen no action since then. Roll on the restart.

Lewes, as they are in the Championship, have been playing. The results are as follows:

November 1st = Lewes 2 Liverpool 2

November 4th = London Bees 1 Lewes 0 (Continental Tyres Cup)

November 8th = Leicester City 1 Lewes 0

November 15th = London Bees 1 Lewes 0

November 18th = Lewes 1 Bristol City 3 (Continental Tyres Cup)

There were no matches scheduled for the rest of November.

Arsenal have also been playing through November and the results have been:

November 4th = London City Lionesses 0 Arsenal 4 (Continental Tyres Cup)

November 8th = Manchester United 1 Arsenal 0

November 15th = Arsenal 1 Chelsea 1

November 18th = Arsenal 2 Tottenham Hotspur 2 (Arsenal win 5-4 on penalties)

The International women's break took place in the second half of November.

I have not yet read up on who played for who and who scored what.
