The Rest of November

I had plans to talk about the women and to review each of the pyramid teams but November arrived and my wife already has me working on Christmas. I remember from past years that December is a tricky month to blog so I will simply summarise the results and move on from there.

Sunday 22nd November:

Leeds United 0 Arsenal 0 = I watched the game on TV and as we were second best I am happy with a point.

Tuesday 24th November:

Barnsley 0 Brentford 1 = I watched this one and was pleased that my team came out on top.

Peterborough United 1 Plymouth Argyle 0 = A defeat but by only one goal.

Exeter 6 Colchester United 1 = A comprehensive victory demonstrating the best of my team.

Bath 1 Dulwich Hamlet 4 = A crushing home defeat that must have the management asking questions.

Thursday 26th November:

Molde FK = 0 Arsenal 3 = A result that confirms qualification from the group stage.

Friday 27th November:

I love Friday night matches and this one was a particularly good one with good football ...

Brentford 2 Queens Park Rangers 1 = My team showed just how good they can be on their day.

Saturday 28th November:

Plymouth Argyle 2 Lincoln City 0 = Plymouth in the draw for the third round of the F.A.Cup.

Gillingham 2 Exeter City 3 = Exeter are also in the draw for the third round of the F.A.Cup.

Weymouth 1 Chesterfield 2 = Weymouth are finding National League football difficult.

Bath City 1 Welling United 4 = Bath City are also finding National League South football difficult.

Sunday 29th November:

Arsenal 1 Wolverhampton Wanderers 2 = The wolves won the game after losing the clash of heads.

December has started but I will leave that for the next post.
