On my second attendance at my new club the result was the same, a three goal home defeat.
The crowd was almost double though, and increasing the crowd is the first of my many tasks if we are to progress up through the ranks and eventually take on the mighty Manchester United. Come and watch Elmore everyone. We are rubbish!
It was a pleasant and warm Saturday in a cold year and the bar was open for business before the match. I swapped my glass for a plastic pint in order to enter the ground area and the feeling was relaxed all around. That may have transferred onto the pitch. We did cheer the one goal loudly.
One more match left this season.
