I offered my wife a night out at the football and she accepted.
We paid our £5 each to get in and bought a program at £1 to find out who was who. There was a list of players but no numbers were attached and that is probably best given the lack of talent on show.
I was proud to feel important next day when I checked the attendance. Twenty three people in the crowd means that given the officials we were outnumbered by the people on the playing surface.
This project could be a very interesting education.
