Shaldon and Teignmouth share seven-goal thriller in Women's League

In the Western Division of the Joma Devon Women's Football League, Shaldon Villa's pitch was deemed unfit by the match referee to play Teignmouth, so both teams agreed to make the short trip across town to play on Teignmouth's pitch.
The switch obviously suited Teignmouth as they took revenge for the match earlier in the season, which Shaldon won 3 - 1. This time, the home side started quickest took a half time lead, which Shaldon almost chased down, but eventually lost 4 - 3.
The match between Halwill Fc and Plainmoor Ladies was postponed, due to the state of the pitch and the match between Lakeside Athletic and Signal Box Oak Villa was abandoned.
In the East, Budleigh Salterton trounced Seaton 7-2 and Crediton won 1-0 at Ottery St Mary. Axminster Town Ladies beat Exeter City Development on penalties in the semi-finals of the Devon Cup and will face West Exe Park Rangers in the final after they defeated Activate 2-0.
