Today's game for the Ladies finished with a 10-0 win!
They travelled to face a depleted Lakeside Ladies side and had to deal with some horrible weather conditions from kick off to final whistle.
The Ladies dominated the game, playing some great football and scoring some brilliant goals.
At the end of the first half, the Ladies found themselves 5-0 up at the break, thanks to a well taken hat-trick from striker Millie Cox, a goal for our debutant Megan McClure and finally a brilliant goal from Niamh Preston.
Half-time came and went with yet more rain and wind, and the Ladies tried their best to keep warm and focused to keep the pressure on and get more goals to show their dominance. And so they did!
Millie Cox continued with her fine form by adding another hat-trick to her goal tally! And Nashya Paz joined in on the action when she was subbed on by scoring 2 great goals!
A great team performance, and a fantastic opportunity taken by the Ladies to move up the league table. A huge well done as well to our debutant Megan, who slotted in well in to midfield and topped off her debut with a great headed goal. And welcome back as well to 2 returning players Steph Bishop and Rachel Rainbird, who return to the team after some time away from football, it was great to have you back!
MOTM went to Millie Cox for her impressive performance up top, scoring her 2 hat tricks and playing fantastically!
Finally, well done to Lakeside, who never gave up and defended brilliantly throughout the whole game.
