Let me tell you all about it

 Real life again.

My focus has been on my daughter who is going to make me a grandfather soon.

Having got about three months behind on match reports I have abandoned them and will probably not do that again. With every intention to read every match report it became a find it and post it then forget it job.

This season officially ends on June 30th with the new season starting on July 1st.

I usually choose my men's teams for the new season early as we have seen the men's leagues listed albeit that there may be some changes. The women's leagues below the Championship are much harder to locate and they may or may not be out there but I am pretty sure that they will show up to me via some vicarious link that I click on.

The women's leagues may have to wait until the tables start to appear with no points for every given team.

The reason I say this is that I want to pick clubs that have both a men's and a women's team this year and although I have started strongly there is a problem linking teams to clubs the further down the pyramid that I go.

Here is where I am at.

ARSENAL have a men's team in the Premier League and a women's team in the Womens Super League.

BRISTOL CITY have a men's team in the Football League Championship and I have already been following the women's team in the Women's Championship.

That provides me with Level 1 and Level 2 for both men and women.

EXETER CITY have been promoted so I must keep my nearest city team but they are now Level 3.

I am pretty sure that EXETER CITY WOMEN will remain at Level 4 in the women's pyramid so I need a club that can match my system.

GILLINGHAM have a women's team at Level 3 and the men's team are at Level 4 in League 2.

That covers the first four levels for both men and women provided that there are no reallocations in the women's pyramid. These occur from time to time.

So I need to fill in levels 5, 6 and 7.

I see that Bath City who I have been following at Level 6 (National League South) are starting a new Women's team to compete at Level 7 so I think I may keep the men and add the women.

I would then have:

LEVEL

5 ... Still to be determined.

6 ... Men: Bath City ... Women: to be decided

7 ... Women: Bath City ... Men: still to be decided

I can only really know when I see the women's leagues in full and there is no information out there yet.
